Wills and Trusts

Examines the execution, revocation, and revalidation of wills; descent of property; family protection statues; probate; grounds of contest; creation, characteristics, and termination of trusts; rights of beneficiaries; and duties of the trustee. Another topic involves the law of intestate succession and marital property rights as a limitation on the power to devise. An overview of the interpretation of will and trust provisions is provided, and will substitutes are briefly considered.
