Cyberlaw Programs

Cyberlaw is a broad, survey course that explores the legal, ethical, policy, and technological issues that accompany digital networks. The major areas of study will include theories of cyberspace governance, jurisdiction over virtual conduct, regulation of online speech, internet history, policy development, jurisdiction, First Amendment and privacy, copyright and fair use, trademark and domain names, cybercrime and internet security, electronic commerce and virtual transactions, discovery of electronic evidence, and legal practice issues on the internet.
