Criminal Procedure
A detailed exploration of the rights of the accused in their various phases, including search and seizure, arrest, bail, right to council, self incrimination, plea bargains, grand jury, exclusionary rules and trial rights. The course begins with the initial police investigation of a crime and apprehension of a suspect, and takes the student through prosecution and trial. This course may also include some discussion of current theories of administration and criminal law.
