Constitutional Law

Constitutional Law classes introduces the student to certain fundamental cases in Constitutional law, to the questions they raise, and to the modes of thought and criticism appropriate to this field. Constitutional law also focuses on the study of the history of the United States Constitution; the judicial function in constitutional cases; the federal system, doctrine of separation of powers, doctrine of delegation of powers; powers of the state as affected by the delegation of powers to the national government, the commerce clause, the due process clause, the equal protection clause, the contract clause, and other limitations on governmental power.
